"The food was excellent and a great choice of drinks. The rooms are tired and small and dont get cleaned every day. The hallways were particularly dirty with stained carpets. Then they only do bins and make beds. They never removed any dirty cups or glasses during our stay. The concept is amazing and some parts are outstanding whilst others require a lot of attention."

"Séjour sur la péniche en famille Nous avons adorer le lieux et la péniche qui est très sympa et insolite mais les lieux sont très mal entretenue, le petit déjeuner est inexistant c’est une honte mis à part un pain au chocolat par personne il n’y avait rien d’autre mais absolument rien ! La salle de petit déjeuner est très sale et tout est vétuste, casser et en mauvaise état . Le parc est très grand est pourrais être tellement beau si il serait entretenu. "To improve: Considering that Alps is visited by people from around the globe it would be great to have the information in English too as not everyone will speak French. Someone to be at the reception to offer support throughout the stay. No bin bags. Also we were expected to clean the room which we did, but the cloth to wash the floors could not be any more disgusting. "As noted by previous guests the building is dated but not an issue. On arrival reception staff was very helpful and polite. (Note the reception openig times). Location is ideal and only 5 mi utes walk to the town centre. Stayed in room 33 which has a balcony and a decent view of the town and surrounding hills. Bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. No issues with noise external or interior. Room size was good with a double bed. Toilet / shower was a cubicle type and worked well. "
