"Our expectations were let down when we discovered the staff had double-billed us.
Even after I presented a different card at check in than the "placeholder" card I'd used to secure the reservation w/ the explicit instruction to only charge my AMEX, the staff proceeded to charge BOTH cards!
The inconvenience lasted six calendar days- That's how long I had ro wait for for my money to be returned to my placeholder card!
Also, there's a family of six cats/kittens that live on the premises in the courtyard, subsisting on the kindness of strangers leaving them breakfast scraps like egg + sauasage. When I twice pleaded w/ two different staffers to pls call in the Humane Society or a local rescue group, I was told "It's not our concern. They live here."
