"The hotel is perfectly located in Avignon to explore the city on foot. The property has a lot of old world charm. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet which was a big bonus for us. The staff were nice and welcoming. Would stay there again."

"The staff at the hotel was pleasant and helpful. However, the hotel is shabby and ill-maintained. The rooms are depressing and have a feeling they're a little gringy. The breakfast was serviceable. The best thing about the hotel it is steps from the Central Train Station . I did hear the rumors that it is to be renovated and it certainly needs it."

"The hotel is split between a new building and an old building built in 1589. We were in the old building. Our room was quite large, especially by European standards with very high cieling typical of old buildings. We had a modern w/c and bathroom, and lots of racks and shelves for cloths. The room was spotlessly clean, but the paintwork on the windows (origial to 1589?) and the closet doors needed a refresh. Breakfast for 18 Euros was excellent. "One of the best hotels we have stayed at in France hands down. It’s perfectly situated in the village and a quick drive over the bridge to Avignon and a close drive to other small villages (though there is plenty to do in Villeneuve). The staff is exceptionally professional and helpful. The bed is comfortable (classic room with courtyard view) and overall the room is delightfully cozy. We will start our journey there next time we visit the country. The hotel is exactly what you would imagine for...
