"Called Homestead for a good reason lovely B&B set in countryside surrounded by cattle and friendly Alpacas we loved it. Staff very helpful, breakfasts in room tasty and adequate."

"Our stay at the Narrows Landing was incredibky restul. The grounds are lovely, staff were helpful and available, and the room was comfy, warm, and large, if a little rustic. Water pressure was great, the continental breakfast better than most, and we had a fantastic nights sleep. We thouroughly recommend this hotel."

"Room was very nice and warm. Lovely bed & pillows. Very quiet too. We were seriously disappointed with the television setup and also having no access to any Sky channels. I have travelled extensively internationally & throughout New Zealand - this is the first hotel I have stayed at where there is no standard access to local channels. Most of the Samsung channels provided are meaningless and not worth viewing - I find such a setup to be convoluted & not customer friendly."

"My family and friends really had a wonderful stay at Magnolia Park. In fact, this was the best accommodation we have stayed so far! The cottage was very tidy and spacious with complete kitchen appliance and cutlery. Andrew was also very nice and accommodating. We even had a quick tour at the farm, picked some fruits, and the kids also enjoyed the animals. Unfortunately, we were not able to take a dip at the pool since the water was freezing cold. Nevertheless, we still had an awesome time!...

"Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. "Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos."

Good size tv for the size of the lounge and a heatpump - that once we figured out how to get it going was effective as the temperature dropped quickly now we are headed into winter. "A bit of a miss for me. The reservation/reception staff and valet parking staff were excellent. I travelled with 8 year old and they engaged her and made her feel important which was great as it was a birthday treat for her. The room a little bit over crowded with big furniture. The bathroom a little disappointed. Had a shower and got out and reached for hand towel to wrap my hair in and their was face foundation over one corner quite badly but the the towel had been folded so you couldn't...
