"My husband and I first stayed at the Royal for our honeymoon in 2021 (a year after our wedding due to COVID), and we absolutely loved our experience. We recently returned in 2026 to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary and even brought along some family members for their first visit. Between 2021 and this most recent trip, I recommended the Royal to just about everyone I knew I truly couldn’t say enough good things about it. Unfortunately, this visit left me feeling disappointed. While I understand that prices have increased, with VAT and gratuity now added to everything, I was more than willing to pay based on the exceptional experience and hospitality we previously received. However, I did notice a significant decline in service compared to our first stay. Throughout our time there whether leaving our room, grabbing coffee, enjoying lunch by the pool or beach, or dining in the restaurants the staff did not seem as welcoming or engaged. In the past, what stood out most was how kind, soft-spoken, and genuinely warm the employees were. They made an effort to connect with guests and truly understood that we were there to relax and escape from our daily lives. This time, that feeling was largely missing. Additionally, the ongoing construction made it difficult to fully relax in our room during the day, which took away from the overall experience. "Majority of the staff were amazing… with the exception of the pool bartenders… they were just the opposite…. Not very welcoming or fun if your an older white man…. Romell the door man was great and did all he could to accommodate… The cleaning staff was exceptional… they made my bothers birthday so special with a cake, balloons and always a clean room…love the swans…."

"This was our second time at the resort and we were very happy with our stay; especially with staff Lisel (restaurant manager) who was so organized and friendly and Darvin (lifeguard) who was so personable and always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed each day. "Wasn’t too impressed since I had been to the one in Orlando and it was impeccable. Pristine. Property was dirty. Room could be cleaned better. Our feet were black shortly after taking a shower. The place needs a face lift for sure. And expensive!! Like ridiculous expensive! "

"Went here with a friend for a few nights. It was a perfect little getaway. The staff are all very friendly, it was clean and lovely. The food and drinks were great and there was great entertainment and activities. You can walk to a beautiful beach nearby and to Atlantis, which is free to wander around at night. We also walked to Nassau, it took about 35 minutes but was a great outing. Very safe area and just beautiful."
