"The main floor front entrance to the property was filled with construction materials and smelled bad. Luggage had to be carried up a flight of stairs to an elevator. The Boutique 8 B & B hotel itself was lovely, quiet and clean. However, the room was not ready when I arrived shortly after check-in time. "Was unable to check in to the hotel. Rang the doorbell multiple times, called the number and still no response. While I was trying to get in contact with the hotel. Someone inside turned off the patio light and it was dark to where we could not see. Had to leave and book another last minute hotel. Tried to get a refund for the day I was not able to check in and was declined."

"Circa 1905 is centrally located in the De L’eixample neighborhood and only steps away from Gaudi’s La Pedrera. The BnB is tastefully appointed - understated and comfortable - in keeping with its location in central Barcelona. Friends of ours stayed here a few years ago and give Circa 1905 rave reviews. We completely agree!"
