"It’s a great hotel but at night there’s homeless people hanging around the lobby and in the morning they let him eat the breakfast for clients. What’s the point of having a secured, locked parking lot if they’re letting homeless people come in?"

"There was some confusion when I checked in about the breakfast I paid for through Expedia, but it was figured out. The staff was friendly. Breakfast choices were above average and not some make your own waffle experience. Everything was clean, although they forgot to empty out the fridge in my room, but that’s not a big issue. My biggest complaint is paid parking for a hotel in Bakersfield that isn’t even close to whatever “downtown” Bakersfield is. That is a $10 joke for a property like this....

"Towels were dirty, there were bugs crawling on the bed, the doors didn’t close properly, and the room smelled like cigarettes even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. On top of that, the neighbors were very loud. If you’re looking for comfort and a peaceful stay, this is definitely not the place."

"We stayed here on two separate occasions on the same trip, lovely clean room a good size, we reported the curtains not opening and closing properly the reception when we left the on the 1st stay, we were given the same room the 2nd stay a week later and the curtains were still not working properly, but different make much of a difference to the overall stay. We would recommend this hotel."

"The hotel was very clean! Staff was pleasant. The location right off the 99 freeway makes it convenient but there is the typical traffic noise. It is not located in the best area of Bakersfield. The city of Bakersfield needs to start cleaning up there city."

"I will never book at this hotel again. Very dirty, smelly, stuffy room. We actually saw a prostitute get dropped off in the parking lot. If it wasn’t so late and we hadn’t driven 5 hours, we would have definitely cancelled this reservation. The only good thing was the young man that checked us in. He was very nice and welcoming."
