"Our stay at Veranda Hotel Grand Baie was unfortunately not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Our apartment was located at the very back of the property, quite a long walk from the main facilities. There was also no lift, which wasn't mentioned when we made the booking. Carrying luggage up the stairs and walking such a distance was very inconvenient, especially after travelling. "I was a solo traveller visiting Mauritius for the first time. The resort was perfect, the beach is stunning, the water activities were great and there was just so many places to just relax on sun loungers around the resort and near the pool. What made my stay special was the excellent staff who were really welcoming and friendly, full of smiles and joy that brightened each day. The breakfast was great loads of choices and also a variety of places for dinner too. I would definitely recommend this...

"this stay is very hard to summarize. the location of the hotel is excellent when whale watching or walks to beach or the Chamarel targets are on the bucket list. The pools are great and bit unsure why there is so often a fuss for clean beach towels since those should just be procured and maybe do not support some people changing all the time and others wait forever on a fresh one.
