"Rooms are new, large, and spotless. Quality linens. Helpful friendly professional staff. Hotel is historic property on 149th street smack in the middle of retail commercial. Highly ethnic neighborhood. Great street food. Easy Uber pickups. My only negative is that there was no coffee in the rooms. But there was 24 hour coffee and fruit on the second floor."

"So it started with Zara at the front desk rude on the phone and not helping me find the location where the shuttle bus is (I called twice and she almost hang up on me before finishing the conversation). The driver of the shuttle was really nice and kind. Then in the room, the toilet seat was dirty with yellow stains, I had to clean it. I took pictures. The shower head was leaking. The bed was clean and comfortable."

"Very close to Manhattan if you’re looking for that. Surrounding neighborhood felt a bit unsafe, especially in the evening. Staff were very kind and helpful, very service oriented. The hotel was packed with diverse patrons from many different countries and cultures who seemed like very good people. Hotel felt welcoming to everyone. The included breakfast was good, a little better and with more options than Holiday Inn Express, and the staff worked to help everyone get what they wanted even though they were crushed with people because the hotel was absolutely packed. The valet guys were so great. They put your car up on a lift in their own parking lot. Absolutely worth that $45/night to not have to worry about parking and to keep your car safe."

"This hotel is our go to for any time we visit NY. Love everything about it! Great spacious clean new rooms, wonderful staff. Excellent location, conveniently located within walking distance to a plethora of amazing restaurants and shopping plazas and or an Uber ride away to other parts of NY for when you want to explore. Highly recommend!"
