Khách sạn Balehr Khas

"The room was very clean and the hotel location is in a peaceful forest 15 minutes walk to McLeod Ganj where the Dalai Lama lives and the main square. The food at breakfast was excellent and you can ask for things like bananas that were not on the table. The staff were attentive. Our laundry service was excellent as well."

"A unique gem, hidden away in McLeod Ganj. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Rooms feature world class facilities. Breakfast buffet is excellent and includes expresso drinks. A nice bar with a view. Rooms facing the valley have a nice view, They also have a full spa and gym onsite. Its also very close to the center of the area and is accessed by narrow city streets. Reception is great at arranging taxis to take you to local destinations. If you are...

"Staff was not that helpful and accommodating"

"Yes"

"The rooms were pretty decent but had issues with the bathroom exhaust which was not working properly hence emitting foul smell in the room. Breakfast was not at all upto 4 star standard in terms of spread and taste. "

"Great staff, took good care of us and really helpful. Would recommend staying here for Dharmashala."

"The staff were so helpful and really looked after us. Even quickly giving me a seperate room to my friend very late at night, when she was really ill and needed space. The location is also stunning. I would recommend Chonor House. Thanks."

"Room was clean, staff was very kind and helpful, dinner in the restaurant hotel was great (we came when they were closing and they waited for us)"

"It was a very wonderful stay very helpful staff and best location"

"Good location but it gives you a feeling of staying in a budget hotel… despite charging good amount for stay, the hotel does not offer basic amenities in the room like slippers, tooth brush kit, soap etc You will have to ask for everything!! Toilet seats are too small and uncomfortable- it’s kids size only so anyone with good physique and height will feel very uncomfortable! Overall 3 star experience - could have been better as I have stayed in much better hotels in Palampur. This place is...

"Delicious food and good hospitality."

"Excellent location for a hotel with clear view of Dhauladar range and Mcleodganj. Very clean and hygienic hotel with a brilliant support staff who will do everything for you at any time !! Thank you Team Encor Mandara Tree Team !! Will visit again !!"

"Good Location and Facilities, but Some Important Concerns The hotel is conveniently located and offers helpful parking. The reception staff were welcoming and provided good service. The Superior and Maharaja Rooms have scenic mountain views, and the food was good, although the restaurant serves only vegetarian dishes—a limitation that should be communicated in advance. However, the spacious bathrooms need serious refurbishment, as the taps and showers were leaking. The Superior Room also had a...
