"I love that it’s dog friendly. The grounds of the property could use some work. But the room was clean and comfortable. My friend who shared the room with me commented that the pillows were too thin for him, but I didn’t have an issue; I guess it depends on personal preference."

"I had a lovely stay at Chateau Yering Hotel. A warm welcome from Annie at Reception, a spotless and lovely room, very friendly and helpful house-keeping staff, and Jennifer in the Sweetwater Cafe makes an excellent coffee. I think Eleonore's Restaurant is at present only open for dinner on Wednesday evenings but plenty of restaurants not far away in Lilydale, and Yarra Glen township is only about 5 minutes from Chateau Yering. For lunch there is the Yering Station restaurant right next door to...
