"We just got home after spending our honeymoon in Marblehead. The Hotel Marblehead is a great stay for anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, and quaint get away. They worked with us via phone/email to set up after hours check-in. Our rooms were cleaned/made up everyday upon request. "Excellent hotel in the heart of Downtown Boston. Great location, lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Room was perfect with large shower and extremely comfortable beds. We came back to our room at about midnight and discovered the sockets were not working so we couldn't charge our phones etc. One quick call to reception and they were fixed within about 2 or 3 minutes."

"Negatives: no free coffee in lobby. This should be standard. Furniture in tv area of lobby was in really rough shape. Bathroom in our room needs refresher; it was a bit shabby. Positives: nice pool, helpful staff, tons of nearby shopping. Easy to park."

We had two dogs with us and the staff were very welcoming to them. The rooms are cozy and the bathroom is a great size. I saw several negative reviews of this place but we had a great experience and I will definitely stay here again."

"I’m guessing the A/C was not working. So to fix the issue, a portable floor A/C was wheeled in which ran all night long with a tremendous noise. Definitely not a good sleep. Now check out is at 11am. We’re five people deep to checkout because the hotel is allowing guests to check their luggage in before they can get into hotel at 4pm. Not well planned from our perspective. Hotel has been great in previous stays. Maybe this was an anomaly"
