"When I booked, there was no indication that the property would be undergoing renovation work. When I got there, Reno work was heavily underway. From approximately 9am until 6pm every day, there was drilling or scraping, tools dropped, drywall and other debris taken down the elevator all day long. "The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel welcomed my dog for no additional fee. It was pretty quiet so she wasn't too on edge which helped. There's not a fenced area for them to run free a bit which would be a nice addition but not a deal breaker. No breakfast but right next door to McD's. My only complaint was there was a VERY strong marijuana smell in the hallway which was fun to explain to my kids. It could still be smelled in our room but only slightly. We'd still stay...

"I enjoyed my stay, however the breakfast portion was very small even for a petite person like myself, I was still very hungry after breakfast. There was a cleaning issue with the bathroom that was overlooked by the cleaning staff that I alerted the owners to that will hopefully be fixed for future visitors. The house is great and very clean overall. The owners are very nice."
