"We had an excellent experience at Island House Hotel last week! Traveling with two toddlers can be stressful, but the staff made everything so much easier and took a lot of that stress away. Housekeeping was amazing, the views were chef’s kiss, and don’t even get me started on the restaurant — absolutely perfect. We already can’t wait to come back next year!"

"The employees were great! The balconies are dingy and in need of some love. That goes for the pool as well. I didn’t feel comfortable letting my child swim in it. Also needs some umbrellas to allow some shade. The room itself was clean."

"Condo was very clean. Had dishwasher detergent (2 loads), liquid soap, wash machine detergents (2 loads); sample size Shampoo, Conditioner, hand soap, and lotion 2 of each. Seemed to have ample dishes, silver ware, kitchen utensils. Table with chairs and 2 lounge chairs on the patio. Steps from the pool or gulf. Sugar sand beach. Walmart, and a liquor store about 3 blocks away. The outdoor space was very quiet after 5 pm. "

"Hotel was great! Only complaint I have was the breakfast staff. They were overwhelmed and needed more help. We ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Coffee shop was very cute, and great food, but also overwhelmed at the counter. In their defense it was Memorial Day weekend. Other wise it was a great place to stay!"

"Someone running in the halls hitting doors at 11:00pm at night, constant smell of weed and loud social gathering at hotel entrance until 2:00a. It was a miserable night, no sleep at all. Employees nice, room clean, breakfast sufficient."

"It smelled like smoke in the lobby and in the walkway. There was no shower curtain and the toilet flushed so hard it hit your legs. Breakfast ok.not some place I would return to. And I rarely leave reviews."

"Seemed like an older hotel that needs some TLC and not the level I expect from Courtyard. Elevator was broke part of our stay, the room was very humid and the sheets felt damp, and there were footprints on the ceramic tile floor and a few other minor housekeeping issues. The pool was down for maintenance as well. Beds were clean and comfortable."

"Room floor was not moped the TV didn't work until the last night we was there and even then channels were very limited only one towel one wash cloth and one hand towel now don't get me wrong the place was OK I've stayed in worse and I like to think it was an oversight on the mopping but you could not walk barefoot cause for feet would turn black very fast other than that it was quite the bed was comfy check was fast price was decent over 3 and half stars out of 5"

"Great place, very clean and the view was beautiful. Only downside was they only had 3 handicap spots and the paid parking was a very long walk. They had valet but we like to do it ourselves. They didn’t have enough bag carts and wanted to put you on a waiting list to get one. Also, only had elevators at one end of the resort and it was a very long walk to the gulf view rooms."

"Room was nonsmoking but smelled like someone had been smoking in it nonstop for weeks! No other solution from staff. My son’s asthma was horrible after one night. The water was also brown in the shower. "

"The condo was beautiful with a view of the inland marsh waterway. It was filled with bird and turtle watching. The beach access was simple. The only thing i wanted was to keep it clean. The vacuum wasnt charged and i couldnt figure it out. I would have liked a larger bathroom off the master bath. But aĺl in all , we had a great time."
