Khách sạn Barkhamsted

"Rooms are not cleaned daily. If you want clean towels you have to go to the desk or request them by 11;45 am. Breakfast items were very cold. No bread for toast only cold bagels and cold pastries. Had a much better breakfast and service at a Holiday Inn."

"A gem in Granby. My husband and I stayed for one night. The hosts were excellent and made great recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. The room was very clean and well kept. The bed was comfy and we both got a great night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We had blueberry pancakes with ham. The coffee was good as well. I would definitely stay here again if we had the chance! Many thanks to the hosts!"

"4.5 STAR!"

"Avon Old Farms is in old property that has been very well maintained. It is charming, has comfortable seating throughout with small libraries for reading. It is light and airy. The breakfast that is provided as part of the room is adequate. The biggest negative is the staff, primarily the staff at the front desk. They are courteous but they do not extend themselves or demonstrate any warmth or enthusiasm that you are there. When you walk up, they say 'yes?' No "welcome to Avon Old Farms" or " I...

"We really liked this hotel! Would definitely return."

"Everything was clean and nothing was out of the ordinary."

"This place got screwed by a few prior reviews. It is not a 4-star hotel and does it pretend to be but the room and bathroom were clean, it was quiet, guy at desk very nice and helpful. Good quiet heat/air conditioning, ample parking. Tv worked fine. Only 2 negatives: free breakfast was very basic - coffee, cereal, yogurt. (But full service family restaurant less than a block away); tub drain was a little slow so 1/4” of water near front end of tub after 5 minute shower (nice shower head, ample...

"The room was clean. There were several surprises: There is no restaurant. It’s a very expensive Starbucks. $5.50 for a coffee & 6.50 for a cold muffin was not not satisfactory. When my wife and I travel we like to enjoy a coffee before having breakfast. The room came with 1(one) coffee pod. Also, I was charged $10 to park my car. These things have to be disclosed . For the price paid, not worth it."

"We have stayed here before and the location is ideal with easy access to the highway and to the airport. The staff is always very good and accommodating. The lobby area is very clean and well kept. There is construction going on, on a few floors and not clean or well kept on those floors. We were on one of the floors where constriction was going on so very noisy during the day. Both elevators are being used by the construction crews not clean. Once this construction is complete I’m sure...
