"I arrived just before 6pm to find my room wasn’t ready, so I waited in the bar. When I finally got in, the room was okay but lacked basic in‑room amenities—there were no cups or kettle, as these are kept in a separate kitchen, which was sparsely stocked. Although I knew the bathroom was shared, I was surprised there was no sink in the room. There were also cobwebs that hadn’t been cleaned, and the door didn’t feel secure; it kept banging in the wind overnight until I wedged it shut. Breakfast...

"My second stay here. A really good place to stay with a great Italian restaurant attached. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Free parking too. A nice pub down the road selling a great pint of ale. Dartmouth Park is close by and lovely to walk around. Bus and tram stop about 20 mins walk away to easy access in to Birmingham or Wolverhampton and they run late so you can have a nice night out and get back to hotel without a worry. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kings Head. The staff were really friendly, breakfast was delicious and the tapas menu was superb. Some facilities were in need of attention such as the lack of sufficiently hot water in the shower. Overall though we would definitely go back"

"The full cooked breakfast was amazing, i couldn't fault it, single room was small but clean and comfy.
very friendly owners , and 2 lovely dogs who came to greet me.
Overall i enjoyed my stay, and if im ever back in the area i would definately stay again.

"Friendly staff. Rooms clean. We ordered a full breakfast. Lots on the plate. Double of everything. No coffee machine for a proper coffee with breakfast. Overall a good nights stay."

"People leave a 1 star or 5 star review for everything these days, so I see ratings like this and think “yeah, right”. Well, this time it was right… virtually flawless from start to finish.
Plenty of spacious parking spaces. My host found the rate balance between friendly and not overly familiar. I was arriving late so I was sensibly put by the front door, presumably to not disturb other guests.
