"We arrived with a confirmed booking (2 rooms) at almost midnight, only to be told at reception they were fully booked. No further explanation or assistance in helping us get alternative accommodation, so we were stranded in Edinburgh with nowhere to stay.
Ended up having to return to the airport and waituntil 8am for a flight home.
In the time we were there, we saw this happen to 2 other bookings - told they couldn't accommodate them even though they had a reservation.

"The staff could not have been better, friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean but nothing great and only had the bare minimum in it. The pool when I used it as well was incredibly busy to the point you could not move as it's open to the general public. I don't think I'd stay again given the price I paid and the extra charges for what I would have imagined most hotels would...

"We really enjoyed our one-night stay. It was a short visit, but everything was lovely and comfortable. Our dog especially loved the bed! 🐶❤️ The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even nicer. We also really enjoyed the breakfast — I was especially happy to see sunny-side-up eggs! 😊
Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We would definitely be happy to stay again."
