Not only is the building a brutalist masterpiece, the rooms are perfectly designed, the staff are helpful and friendly without being obsequious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. As well as that, the area it sits in has fantastic restaurants (in particular Tastado for breakfast and Berlingeri for lunch) and is a short walk to the beautiful beach. "

A water main in the next street blew when we were there which affected hot water-nothing hotels could do. Our stay was very comfortable and beat warm, friendly customer service!"

"Our family of 4 had an amazing visit! The apartment was clean and spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The location was marvelous and close to stores and restaurants. The kitchen also had 2 burners, so I was able to cook home meals. The air conditioning was freezing, which was a plus for me! "An absolutely wonderful bohemian spot to stay. We had an ocean view room (#9) that was comfortable and very clean. The service at the hotel was great and the ability to enjoy a lounger on the beach as a guest made the beachfront location even more desirable. The neighborhood is great with many restaurants and coffee shops located within blocks. Very walkable."

"Lovely hotel! Front desk staff is super helpful and accommodating, the rooms are super spacious (tall ceilings, separate rooms for the toilet/shower), surrounding area is quiet and well maintained with a park across the street. Super lowkey stay with great facilities, would stay again! "

"Beautiful house! Furniture was comfortable. Clean and plenty of linens. Rooftop view of the city was great! We were only there due to an unexpected situation and didn't get to fully utilize/enjoy the space, but we are very thankful for the stay. Would note that staying in Old San Juan is noisy: you can hear cars, music, talking, etc during the night from inside. That's part of it but maybe not great for everyone. "
