Not only is the building a brutalist masterpiece, the rooms are perfectly designed, the staff are helpful and friendly without being obsequious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. As well as that, the area it sits in has fantastic restaurants (in particular Tastado for breakfast and Berlingeri for lunch) and is a short walk to the beautiful beach. "

"Wonderful staff, clean, comfy beds, gorgeous garden rooftop. AC, walkable to all shops restaurants, beaches. 24hr large grocery 1 block. A water main in the next street blew when we were there which affected hot water-nothing hotels could do. Our stay was very comfortable and beat warm, friendly customer service!"

"The restaurant was not open during the time that we stayed. However, this boutique hotel was a lovely overnight stay prior to taking our cruise. Staff was very accomodating and helped us find local restaurants that we truly enjoyed."

"We stayed here for three nights and we had an amazing experience. We stayed in the Presidential Suite and our room was beautiful. The staff here were so kind and helpful, rooftop restaurant was amazing. The hotel offered a shuttle to the beach and made to order breakfast every day. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Beautiful house! Furniture was comfortable. Clean and plenty of linens. Rooftop view of the city was great! We were only there due to an unexpected situation and didn't get to fully utilize/enjoy the space, but we are very thankful for the stay. Would note that staying in Old San Juan is noisy: you can hear cars, music, talking, etc during the night from inside. That's part of it but maybe not great for everyone. "
