"Beautiful building and property. Spacious rooms with decent wifi, fridge, fan and comfortable chairs and bed. Good restaurant in the building too. Enjoyed the critters in the yard: cats, peacocks, Guinea hens, chickens, geese, and scrunchy faced pigs. Would have loved to have stayed longer. "

"This is not a chain hotel...why would you want one? Where is the charm of living as the locals do? This place has that charm. This is a small business run by a very loving family. This is the authentic Blackpool experience. I have rarely seen people this welcoming and kind. Everyone was incredibly attentive and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. The breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed every moment of my interaction with the family that runs it. Highly recommended. "

"As it was an over 50’s Hotel it really was excellent for the price, the manager and the staff we met could not do enough for you, nothing was to much to ask, the breakfast was lovely and well prepared, coffee and tea really hot. My wife was in a wheelchair so we where given a ground level room with access through the back with zero stairs."

"It was a cosy wee B&B exactly what I expected nothing fancy but it was clean (I have a very particular teenage son whom was not looking forward to staying in someone’s home) but the whole family slept well on the nights we stayed at the Arendale, the owner was a lovely friendly lady & the breakfast was as expected, "
