"Stayed again at the venue but this time midweek the only small criticism I have is that they chose not to do filter coffee jugs at breakfast which was disappointing as was very welcome at the weekend when clearly more guests were staying. I would however suggest just keeping one jug on the go in mid-week would have been nice"

"We arrived early at the property and were able to use our room before 2pm...the staff were extremely welcoming and very friendly. The room itself was very comfortable and clean with a lovely en suite...it was perfect for our overnight stay and an easy walking distance from Cardiff city centre. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back again"

"From the pictures on the site, it indicated that toileries would be provided. But there was none to be seen. Initially had problems getting into my room, because the no. received was incorrect. Contacted the Office and this was corrected immediately. The no.19a bus goes to the 'Shirley' area, just ask the driver to put you off at the Howard Road bus stop. Take the 1st left and you are on Howard Road and the Guest House is on the right. The full address of your premises needs to include...

"The check-in process was great, there was a person at reception when we arrived. The room was clean and working apart from the window was broken and took a bit of effort to shut properly. The largest downside was a loud humming noise resonating through the room throughout the day, as if coming from an industrial laundry facility somewhere underground.
