"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. "Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated.
The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind.
The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice.
Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious."
