Staff was very friendly and while there is no food on the property, there are many establishments within walking distance. They have a great bar downstairs and we had a great time hanging out and listening to the many local musicians who wandered in and played. One of the highlights of our trip!

The Whisky Vaults is in a great location to explore Oban. Close to everything and clean and comfortable. Excellent water pressure in the shower too!! The bar is lovely with really friendly staff. Strongly recommend!

We arrived early on the train and hoped that there would be a reception area to store our bags, but it wasn’t open until 3 pm check-in time. Bed was comfortable. Old rooms but clean.

Very unique property, close to a diverse array of dining options. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a wee bit on the tiny side, with winding stairs to get to them, but the staff does offer to help with your bags. Most importantly, they were clean.The complimentary sack breakfasts left at our door were perfect. The bar area was neat and staff very friendly there as well. Parking wasn't easy to get to, but worked out fine.

Clean but there was a smell in the stairwell Breakfast was good, a yogurt, pastry, fruit and muesli bar. Parking was street parking and had to be paid. Bathroom very small

Quirky but neat place not for mobility challenged. Great access for walking in town and to restaurants, train and ferry.
Challenge to get the luggage up the twisty stairs but loved the carpet and ambiance.

The room and areas were fine. The reception was poor. It would have been wonderful if someone would have been at reception or at the pub area to greet us when we arrived. And if we could have left our bags while seeing the town.
