"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. The kitchen is well stocked with decent cookware and crockery making cooking easy and pleasant. Having use of a washer and dryer was a huge help. The entire property was spotless. "Location was great- 10 min walk to centre. Property was huge- good for hen/stag do, which it is probably aimed at. The property is tired, showers cold or low pressure/ not overly clean. Feels like it needs a good deep clean, wouldn’t want to walk round with bare feet. Unfortunately, one of our party cut their foot on smashed glass in the hot tub. Additionally, one of the children also found smashed glass on the floor in the living area but fortunately was not hurt. "
