"It was ok. The valet staff was very good. The front desk was nice on the way in. I called down later to ask whether they had any non-down, thinner pillows. She answered and said “hang on a minute” and then proceeded to talk to someone else in my ear about other stuff and then seemed really confused about what I meant about the pillow, and then said she’d have someone look into it. I was pretty sure nobody was coming and they never did. I used a folded towel for a pillow."

"Love the location! The hotel is central to the many neighborhoods in the city. It’s about a 15 min walk to the train station, about a 30 min walk to Inner Harbor. The staff were great and were able to accommodate us checking in early. If you don’t want to leave the hotel, there’s a bar, serve breakfast, and a speakeasy! Overall, a great experience at the hotel!"

I understand this location is an older bank converted into a hotel, and while I can appreciate the nostalgia and character, it still felt very much like an old building in ways that impacted comfort. Apparently one is required to specifically request it in check in which is something I have never experienced in all my travels In addition it was impossible to get a plain cup of coffee out of the common coffee dispenser in the lobby. "I did not have any pets with me. Yes I did meet my needs."
