"This is a cute little motel. I would say that it is fine for an overnight stay but would be difficult for a longer stay. The place is very clean and you can tell that they work very hard to keep it to work nice. The rooms are not large and the bathrooms are ridiculously small. If you've read reviews about the toilet to be extremely close to the shower, that is accurate but I didn't find it that upsetting. Or room looked nothing like the pictures on the website so that was a bit of a surprise....

"Great location. Room and bed were clean. Bar at pool was convenient and nice. View from room 224 partial view was good with a cool little balcony. Can't see the beach but ocean and pier is nice. Bad timing on our part, party weekend for seniors so drunk teens slamming doors and talking excessively loud intermittently in the hallway directly in front of our door until 3am was a little frustrating but I was young once, didn't try to spoil it for them. "The staff was on top of it, from check in to check out. I didn't need new towels or anything during our stay, but the kids left a mess on the floor from changing out of bathing suits. Housekeeping was more than happy to assist in vacuuming up our room while we were there."

"We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott."

"What laundry service? Parkimg was easy. Staff was overwhelmed with problems from guests. Most of these problems were preventable of they had fully prepared the rooms before the guests stayed in them. Amoung the problems were one lady didnt have a shower curtain. We didnt have a remote and went multiple times and they kepta promising to come help us. One guest had 6 people and two sets of towels for a room with more than one bed. "Pros- walking distance to beach & Coligny park. Rooms were clean and the hotel has been updated. Reasonably priced. Allows pets. Water pressure was good & water hot. The manger was very kind & you could tell truly cared about his hotel guests. Cons- the room key system was broken during half of our stay & required us to have a staff member unlock our door as we came & went. "When I was checking in the staff was not welcoming. Acted like we were bothering the for checking in. They do not clean your room, you have to ask. Just giving you a heads up. Breakfast was not the best. "

"When I return to HHI, I will select a different hotel. Parking was limited. Room was not as clean as my wife would like. Bring your Lysol wipes. Too many dogs imo. Breakfast is crazy crowded because you enter space in a bottle neck. Two coffee machines(push button automatic) :( to serve too many people. Get your coffee in the lobby-much easier. Staff- they were present is about the best I can say."
