"Unfortunately it was pretty dirty. The bathroom door was covered in grime and makeup. The cabinets in the kitchenette area and the bed headboard were also really dirty. The area by the chair smelled strongly of pet urine. The bed was incredibly hard, so we had a lot of back pain during and after our stay. The blanket was yellowed and torn, with the stuffing exposed. There wasn't any hand soap in the bathroom and the shower curtain was just a thin cloth, so water soaked through and got all over the floor. Overall, not a great place to stay. Should've been much, much cheaper for the poor quality."

"I stayed here on the front side of my trip and stayed on the first floor. Window was open in my room and the lights from the gas station shined right in. Did find the black out curtain. Breakfast the next day was minimal. No protein and white sugary food. My second stay on the back side of my trip was better. Stayed on the 3rd floor and on the other side of the hotel. Much better. Breakfast was slightly better, nothing to write home about. One thing is this hotel says it has a pub for food and beverages. None of those things were offered. One would think if it said pub you could get a glass of wine when you arrive."

"It was exactly what we were looking for! Very small, friendly town, Locally owned and Restaurant and Bar on premises. It was Very quiet. Rooms are spacious and very clean. It is off the beaten path. The drive was there beautiful. Would definitely stay again."

"A total mess of management. Booked one month ahead and cannot check in due to overbooking. Seems to be some rookies who didn't understand the booking process and messed up. The front desk is quite indifferent and just asks us to contact the booking platform to make up for their own fault. Apparently running a hotel here means accepting reservations you have no intention of honoring, then acting surprised when guests show up expecting a room. The booking system is treated like a suggestion. The customer is treated like a complaint. And the actual problem somehow becomes someone else's job to solve. Impressive level of dysfunction, genuinely."

"When I went to check in the housekeeping told me that there was nobody at the desk and that I should come back in about 4 hours. So I went to the graduation that I was in town for and went back later. The desk clerk was extremely rude and so stoned he couldn’t even log into his computer. He also cussed at me repeatedly and then told me he was just doing what Jesus told him. He gave us a room that hadn’t been cleaned then another that was already occupied. He told us we could stay in the dirty room for free. When I said I didn’t want to stay he said F me that he was probably going to get fired anyway because he had let so many people without reservations stay. I guess that’s why they didn’t have my room."

"Gateway lodge was a great deal, i stayed an extended amount nearly a week and the room was great. Great brekfast with eggs, waffles, eggs, coffee, orange juice. The best place to stay in rifle."
