It's affordable, great value and located close to public transport easy to get to Jersey City and into Manhattan Every room I have stayed in has been clean and very comfortable. There is laundry on site and the staff are always welcoming and helpful "

"For a hotel this close to the airport and so highly utilized by us travelers, this hotel was wonderfully clean and the staff were terrific. One nice story: we had to catch a flight at 6am and our shuttle driver was on time and also took us directly to our terminal vs dropping us at the Air Tran location. We were so grateful for his service. It made our early morning less rushed."

"I wish I had checked out a map of EWR airport as I waited at the wrong spot for pick-up. The text from the hotel said to wait at P3 so when I went out from terminal A there was a sign "3" and I waited incorrectly there. From terminal A, one needs to take a shuttle to the air train to P3 building for the hotel shuttle pick up. Also, in the morning there is no sign up to reserve a spot for the shuttle to return to airport, so I went down way early to be sure I got a place on the shuttle. The...

"Uma at the front desk was great! The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was amazing! There was also a shuttle to the train station and it also took us to the concert venue! 10/10 would absolutely recommend! "

"The room itself was clean, nice continental breakfast better than a normal one, staff was professional. Towels were washed and dried, but not clean. The hand towels had someone’s hair entangled in it. It’s expected with this type of hotel. Although I was a bit disappointed in the noise levels the whole time, day and night. Other reviews say it’s quiet, yes guests are quiet, but the highway noise outside was so loud I could not sleep at night. I kept waking up to semi horns and street racers...

"Newark Hampton Inn provides “ free shuttle to airport” but does not actually go to airport! It takes you to AirTrain where you have to then connect by train to airport. It all takes time and with no printed schedule, how can passenger be sure to make flight? I had to take an Uber and then learned air train not even currently in service!! It would have been helpful if staff had informed passengers when they saw us waiting!!"

"Nice clean motel in a safe location. The only negative is the loud road noise until at least 1 am. For some reason obnoxiously loud motorcycles and sports cars were constantly passing by the motel the night I stayed there."
