"My daughter and I were doing a college tour of the Great South. We booked this property from Expedia the day of. We arrived to find that this was not a hotel but a condominium being rented out as a short term rental. So there was no reception desk. "The room was large and well set up. It was very clean. Only a sheet and thin coverlet on the bed - I would have liked a blanket. A short walk to the beach (two blocks?) Entry by code was great, but could have been nerve-wracking if my phone had run out of battery while out on the beach or if I left my phone in the room. I guess there are issues with leaving keys, too, though. It may be obvious desk clerks have been visited by me due to lost keys on occasion."
