"Hotel seemed like it was recently renovated. Everything looked in top shape. The room (the most important thing) was very spacious, very clean! Not a fan of the bathtub in the bathroom but the cleanliness of it made up for it. Breakfast was meh, but once again, the food area very clean! Definitely will coming back!!"

"Room listings state they have curtains and they did not, rooms were very bright overnight. Pool needs rules better enforced. Two kids went underwater at no fault of anyone but neglectful parents that should have been physically in the pool with their young toddlers. Other families had to help rescue kids at no fault of the lifeguard but the rules definitely need to be enforced much better. "

"Overall the experience was a good one. The room was relatively clean with the exception of a few things on the floor which i just picked up. The bar on the first floor is good. The staff was friendly"

This location had a Starbucks that was closed as well, the staff couldn't even provide complimentary coffee in the morning while their food sources were shut down. Forced to walk off property to a fast food place for our morning coffee at these prices! Also charged us for parking in the hotel garage when it was 90% empty! $10 a night that Expedia did not list either."

"The hotel lacked in a lot. The lady who checked us in gave us high hopes but sadly that lasted until we opened the door to our room. Immediately we noticed that there was a spill near the entertainment center that hadn't been touched. And then candy on the floor and other things that needed to be vacuumed. Not to mention the hair in the shower. We called the cleaners to our room three times before we even settled in. The mattress sunk in the middle leaving me with neck, shoulder pain and a...

"I can’t say enough about the staff at the Castle in the Sand. We had to move from another unrelated hotel in the area after a very poor experience and everyone we dealt with was so helpful. "
