"super"

"Beautiful place and great staff."

"Very clean and inviting. Lots of open space with fresh air and ocean views. Large, comfortable rooms with unique amenities. Helpful staff and easy in and out. Highly recommend."

"The room was so cute and clean. Definitely recommend!"

"The property is right on the beach and has an old world charm to it which we loved. The kitchen is very well equipped and came with a retro microwave which provided a unique touch. The property is well maintained and the staff are really helpful. The car parking scene is also easy to navigate. There is no air conditioning but we didn't think it would be necessary given the sea breeze and we were right."

"Throw back to 1960s surf culture. Amenities included at no extra charge, including chairs and boogie boards, which is unheard of these days! Can’t beat the location to beach, shops and restaurants."

"Check-in was simple, as was parking. There is a $10 charge for parking, but there really is no parking in Hermosa Beach. The room was amazingly clean and LARGE: could seriously have fit 3 king sized beds in there! The room needed a screen on the balcony door (I sleep with windows open), so I kept the slider shut. There was a microwave, refrigerator, facial tissue, a phone, alarm clock, and a t.v. which was wonderful. Breakfast was more than cold pastries: scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals,...

"Very close to beach."

"No soundproofing on the rooms so the traffic noise was LOUD - I had to uber ets ear plugs to sleep. There was also missing tile in the bathroom. The bed was overly firm, which made sleeping difficult. The “included” breakfast was sad - I’ve had better at a Holiday Inn. It is an ok hotel and the location is great, but it is not luxury, which they claim to be."

"If you are looking for a place to stay with paper-thin walls, where every noise is heard, then this is the spot! Towels are as thin as tissue paper and small...I mean child-size towels. The room is adequately clean unless your girlfriend has a lip gloss roll under the bed and you have to retrieve it - yuck. The comforter on the bed is dingy and needs to be replaced (cigarette burns), the pillows are the also wafer-thin. If you want a supportive pillow, bring your own. The parking for the motel...

"Other guests were so loud, could not sleep every night"

"Balcony room was great. View of traffic and ocean. 😊 Breakfast good. Great location. Clean rooms. Hot water."

"the atmosphere is definitely fun. Friendly, accommodating staff. The room was a bit small but if you spend most of your time outside of it you don't notice. I loved the weekday planned activities and breakfast was nice."
