"Clean, spacious room in a historic building. Underground car park nearby and in the heart of a shopping area with great restaurants choices too. Perfect shopping location! And only a 20 min drive into Amsterdam airport, which makes this a great location for a flight option. Hotel staff are fantastic, and Luisa was incredible making check-in both easy and informative, including history of the building. Unfortunately no air conditioning (yet)."

"The hotel is ideally located if you are planning to visit the Zandvoort motor racing circuit which is literally across the road. The hotel is located really close to the long sandy beach and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. One evening I had a meal in the bar / restaurant, entrecote steak with fries and vegetables, which was very good. My room was fine but not brilliant. "The excellent staff did all they could to make or stay as pleasant as possible. However, the rooms were outdated and a bit scruffy. We had to ask for the rugs to be vacuumed and the bathroom floor washed before we felt comfortable with the cleanliness. The major drawbacks were that the hotel is without air conditioning and some rooms are quite noisy, as they are on the street with bar and restaurants all along the street on which the hotel resides. That said, I would consider looking at it again...
