"The LaQuinta Inn has great staff, a good breakfast, a good swimming pool and a good hot tub. The initial access is a little weird in that you cross an old parking lot and drive by a closed restaurant that's run down. But it's a good hotel once you're there. The parking is good. We'd stay there again. "

"Parking was a little tight. Check in was super easy and convenient. Everything was very clean except for the coffee machine which could use a good clean. The softest sheets I've ever slept on! Air conditioning was ok, although it kept kicking off and it got hot real quick. Doors and walls are super thin so we could hear everyone outside. Some blackout curtains would be nice to keep the light out as it pours out the sides of the roller curtain. "

"Looking at booking the reservation thru Expedia - it was expressed there were only three rooms left. The reality was only two rooms were booked. All the rest were not. I’m not sure if the property owner or Expedia is responsible for being dishonest. I have to think more deeply when I book thru Expedia - unless I can get a better answer. The property and room were clean and well maintained."

"Very nicely appointed independent hotel, close enough to town to walk to just about anything. Excellent view of the lake and park. The kitchen was great for a break in eating out and having a home cooked meal. Just wished we stayed longer. We're planning on staying here again."

"The beds in room 215 need to be replaced, the mattresses were sagging on both beds. The other guests were loud and running up and down the hall in from of my room. The guests outside my window were loud. The room we stayed in was over the second entrance. My previous experiences were good. This time was my experience was very unpleasant and frustrating."

"Great staff and facility. The building was a little older and dated, but it had everything you need. The staff were painting the parking cement block so they are putting effort into the place. The only downside was the carpet area between the armchair and bed seems to be a little not clean/vacummed. There seemed to be some nail clippings on the carpet so the room could have been a little more clean. The door between the next hotel room is very thin and not sound proof. "The hotel is clean and appears well maintained. The parking lot has plenty of spaces. The breakfast options were eggs, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, apples& oranges, biscuits and gravy, muffins, and waffles and cereal. I was very pleased with the options for breakfast! The room was clean, beds well made and bathroom spotless. We even had a fun note from the housekeeper wishing us well which was sweet touch. This will be our first option for stays in the future. "

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and nice. I had a little beep the first night coming from the dishwasher but they took care of it very quickly. They were very nice and helpful. A very clean comfortable hotel."

"It was unfortunate that we were not told about the whole back and side yard being dug up due to sewer problems at the hotel. Honestly we probably would have booked elsewhere. The staff was nice and the room was okay. The roll out heater had a broken wheel so would not stand very well. The mattress was used to the point that it had two indentation on each side, so you would kinda roll into that spot. Location is great, street parking only. Coffee and breakfast was good. "It was a clean room - extremely outdated, odd scruffy parts of the carpet, but overall well kept/maintained. The staff was truly wonderful though, so kind, accommodating, and helpful!"

"First room had a huge blood stain on matress. The girl at the front counter was super nice and tried her best. Had to call manager to get approval to switch rooms. Manager was beyond rude, tried to tell me the bed was made perfectly. Sure was, but matress was nasty and room smelled like old cigarettes. Was able to switch but was told if i didnt like this room i could leave the property, with no refund. Second room was fine. But manager was so rude. "
