"Beautiful ocean front room restaurant in the hotel small walk to beach kid friendly"

"The hotel needs an update. It’s in great proximity to charge top dollar but the inside and rooms are old! They need refurbishing. The shower was an 80s plastic shower head. The windows and curtains were filthy! Wouldn’t stay again. But the staff was kind!"

"We got a great deal on our room . It wasn’t fancy by any means but it was clean and bug free. The staff was very kind . Big thank you to Jessica at the front desk she was very helpful . Would stay again."

"Beds and pillows are terrible. Bed mattresses need to be replaced. Sitting chair looks like it’s has been used for sex . Lots of stains it was gross. Refrigerator made terrible noise had to unplug it and not use it. Reported it and nothing was done , still in the same position I had left it in . Got poor sleep. Couldn’t change room because it was booked up."

"Hampton Hotels gave me very good impression in the past, but this one made me very disappointed. To my surprise, the bathroom only includes one sink and doesn’t have any counter to put cups, soak and other items. I had to flush two times to clean the toilet. I woke up at midnight by click-click noise like a theft trying to open the door and later on I figured it came from the refrigerator starting. I had to turn it off the next night. "The road and the property were both extremely clean and comfortable. And the staff was absolutely the best. Everyone was very kind and friendly."

"Our room was clean, the breakfast area wasn't maintained as far as cleaning the tables for the next person and coffee was out. Breakfast was ok. They tried to charge me for a reservation I didn't make"

"The staff needs to enforce better parking there were a lot of trucks that were double parked and when I asked front desk they told me there was nothing they could do and I just needed to ride around. It was midnight when this happened. They took my number and name and promised I would t get towed but I had to park in front of boat ramp. Other than that loved the location and will definitely be back."

"Beach access was very easy & close. Room was clean besides the floor. Need to do a better job cleaning the floor before & after check in. No housekeeping offered until day 3 upon request."

"I liked the closeness to restaurants and the Bogue Inlet Pier. This was the main reason for the stay was for fishing. Only negative was the 1 hour delay to get in my room for check-in. The stated time was 3pm and I didn't get in until a little after 4pm."

"No hangers, no place to hang anything, lamp without a shade, several outlets didn’t work, carpet disgusting, mold in the shower, broken door lock, and refrigerator froze my food."

"Everything was great until I pulled back the covers to get in the king size bed and found it was full of sand and very small dark curly hairs. Since I didn’t want to cause a fuss at 1 am with the security guard, who was the only staff available from 7 - 7, I pulled all the bedding off and slept in one of the twin beds instead. Definitely a one and done at the Atlantic Beach Resort for me. I would ask for a refund if I thought they would issue one."

"Top notch, it wasn’t our first choice (because we are loyalty members at a chain nearby) but it definitely will be next time! Convenient location less than 3 miles from Emerald Isle. Easy check in with pleasant staff. Very clean all around, nice outdoor pool, workout room, dining area for the continental breakfast (good coffee btw). We had a good sized room with a jacuzzi, very comfortable mattress and even though our room faced the street, it was so quiet. Absolutely no complaints"
