"Pros: Loved the location, secluded and quiet. Overall property and room was nice. A young man who was a part of the staff was always very friendly, when walked by. Beach chairs were awesome (first come first serve). Outside area by beach was very nice. Cons: Daily parking fee (I would change this to a resort fee instead). Wi-fi was challenging...we had to use our data..staff said they were working to improve. A staff member of hotel restaurant was very rude when we asked to see a menu. ...

"Friendly people, easy check in, snack room helped us this trip. Construction on side by the pool and closed off pet area was disappointing. But I love that it overlooks the golf course on one side and can see the ocean on the other side. "

"Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Our room refrigerator had leftover melted ice cream in the freezer which is still there by the way, we left it. We had a very sticky rusted trash can in the area to use.The fold out couch was very uncomfortable to use and we had to ask for sheets and pillows and make it ourselves to use it. Room wasnt cleaned our first morning even though we left before 11am. Came back to a dirty room with no clean towels but when I asked for clean towels someone...

"Shocked by how nice the facility was and how spacious the rooms were. This is a great place to stay right at Big Rock Landing with walking access to shops and dining. We will be back again!"

"This place had no smoke alarm in my room. You had to bring your towels to the front desk to get more. You had to change your own sheets. "

"Ava was great! The room was great, the view of the sound was beautiful, the outdoor cooking area (picnic tables) could use an upgrade, other then that everything was wonderful "

"Pool was open and looked amazing, but we didn’t swim. Laundry facilities were very nice and clean. I made a mistake and showed up a day earlier than I booked for, but they were very understanding and were able to accommodate us. Such helpful staff!"

"Stayed here for just a night over Easter weekend. We were greeted by the owner, Christina. She was lovely, accommodating, and warm. She let us borrow a few things for the beach and directed us to our room. The room was nice. Two queen beds, comfortable. The A/C was cold and the TV worked. The only issue we had was the neighboring room had a dog that kept barking in the daytime, but it wasn’t really that distracting. We had a great stay, and plan on coming back. "

"The General manager assaulted me after having a heated discussion on there polices of having to use their valet parking. I was told if I didn't use there valet I would have to park on the road off of their property. I ended up not staying their after the manager called the police as I wanted them to, because I was assaulted by the manager. So I lost the $ for the room. I'm currently filing charges for the way I was treated. I would by no means stay at this place with the unprofessional managers...

"Love the breakfast and the Widows Walk. Love the waterfront breeze and the mom-and-pop feel. This is one of our favorite weekend retreats."

"The resort staff are very friendly.. not just saying but really nice people and good vibes. I will return with my mom and others. Also, the rooms were clean, very clean and updated.. we stayed on the lower end (100’s) so everything was nice. And just in case you’re wondering yes everyone is welcomed 😁 "
