"Everything was great here. My only complaint was the bar was creepy and not in a good way. We just didn’t go to the bar. Staff was super friendly and the hotel it self is really cool! Within walking distance to everything! I would definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed the location, nice rooms, the upscale atmosphere & great price! The staff were very friendly helpful in general, However, the reservation included a tour credit +1 free tour per room. At checkin the front desk knew nothing about how to redeem that credit & offered no voucher to take to the tour desk. I was referred to tour desk, which was closed until the next day...9-5. The next morning, the tour desk know nothing about the free tour or credit ($130 value-based on length of our stay). I went back the front desk later, told to see the tour desk again but to ask for a specific person to sort this out, because I obviously had the receipt showing I paid for tours to be included. Next day, tour desk person tried to stick with a discount instead of the free stuff...so I asked for manager, calmly, to sort this out. Finally the Asst Mgr came, took my info & promised his reservations specialist would call within 30 minutes. That call never came! I was now on a mission.. I called Expedia who sent emails to the hotel to verify that I was owed these tours.. The hotel personel at front desk & tour desk said they could not find it. So, I called Expedia AGAIN to escalate . They offered me credit in ONE KEY CASH for the value of the tours I I spent waaaay toooo much time trying to collect this bonus that was my motivation for choosing THIS hotel."

"Breakfast is wonderful but pricy. If possible pay in advance and get better deal. The bar is nice except for well lit and I recommend eating someplace else."

"The hotel is located nicely in the French Quarter and has a charming courtyard. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Unfortunately the condition of our room had us spending as much time as possible in the open-air courtyard. Dusty/dirty floors, dirty/smudgy door, well-worn furnishings. The air filter for the A/C in our room was caked with dirt and dust. As a result, the air quality in the room was poor, leaving the smell from the partially-cleaned bathroom lingering. The shower had a slow drain, and the sink drain was even slower, eventually not draining at all. In the middle of our stay, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. There was no explanation from staff as to what happened or why, which was surprising. I have pics, but they probably will not be well received."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Wasn’t happy to find out there was no refrigerator or no microwave in the room. There’s actually no microwave in the hotel at all. The staff were okay not very polite. "
