"The property had friendly and professional staff. The hotel was clean and updated. The breakfast was good. We travelled to the area for a concert at UVA. I was concerned about the distance of the hotel from the venue, but it was an easy drive and had several exits in between with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. I would definitely stay here again."

"Amazing stay in nature. Love the fire supplies provided and the coffee was tasty. The s'more's kit was an added treat. Everything was lovely especially the setting in the middle of nature. Great fire pit and when you lay in bed you just see the trees in the woods. It just was amazing. It might be nicer if there was a blackout area where you can see the stars, and if there was an extra blanket, but otherwise absolutely no complaints. Great communication with the host. Absolutely amazing...

"I always have great experiences at Holiday *nn Express. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was super nice and accommodating. They got us a portable crib for my 3 month old which was really awesome. Break was great. No smoking allowed on the property. I will only stay at Holiday inn Express from now on."

"The hotel was closed upon arrival and no one ever arrived. The windows were broken and there was an odor of cat urine and a dozen feral cats. We left since the hotel was closed and sought other accommodations. I will demand a full refund from Expedia and my credit card company. Filthy!"

"We booked a two night stay for graduation weekend. There was no hot water in the hotel. I called front desk the first night and was told it was a problem with the entire hotel. This was false. Our friends on the first floor had hot water. We were on the third floor. Second day, I was told it was just a problem that was supposed to be fixed but wasn't yet. The front desk staff took my number for management to contact me. They did not."

"The bed was comfortable, however the bare floor was dirty, there was mold in the caulking around the tub and tub was dirty. Towels were at least clean. We purchased lysol spray cleaner, and cleaned the floors ourselves. My husband had a medical procedure done and we needed to stay one more night, after having already stayed 3 nights and they would allow us to stay 1 more night. We were able to go through Expedia and book a Comfort Inn at a different location for one night, it's much nicer and...

"The bar is superb, and staffed by an exceptionally attentive staff. The level of hospitality offered here is truly exceptional. The hotel is built around a central atrium. It is quite calm and soothing to spend any amount of time in there. Throw in glass elevators that overlook the atrium, and a number of rooms with an interior view, and you've got an extraordinary experience waiting for you. "
