"Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted.

"This was one of the highlights of our 3 week stay in the UK. Gorgeous old house, massive room decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean and gorgeous grounds. John our host was lovely and cooked us delicious breakfasts. Also lovely surrounds with a donkey across the road who loved a pat, and some cats on the property who loved a cuddle. Highly recommend."

"Just a lovely spot, 5 minutes driving from town and the shore in Newcastle, 15 or so to some great hiking trails. Grounds are very nice and there’s a gentle climb down to the river, a beautiful spot on the patio to sit out for a drink or morning coffee — and the breakfast was excellent as well (I had to go for the Ulster Fry (similar to the Full English) both mornings. "The rooms were great. There's a spa/pool, but we weren't there enough to access. The restaurant and lounge were very comfortable - Annie, in the restaurant, made our day! She ensured we tried foods at the buffet, had great stories and cared! The lounge area had music (person w/guitar) and all of our food was great. This was in an area of Belfast I hadn't seen before - hidden! We took a cab to go into the city proper which was really only 5-10 min. Well worth staying here."
