"You're steps away from a nice sandy beach, a few waves getting in and out but can float around if you like. They have assigned beach chairs, you tell them what area you want and they'll put your room number on some that are available.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially at the little Mini Mart and had everything you would need. We never ate at the restaurant, went next door to Divi, they have several options.
The room's are outdated but found everything was clean enough,...

"Simpson Bay Resort is a great place to stayt, the breakfast buffet is very good, we recommend that you include it in your reservation. The beaches are beautiful, comfortable to swing. The pools are very clean and warm. Overal, we liked it and we would stay here again in our next trip to St. Marteen."

"Es la 3ra vez que nos quedamos aquí, simplemente hermoso el resort, tiene todo para hacer, no hay que salir. Realmente se siente uno en el Caribe. Los restaurantes son excelentes todos, los bares , wuaoo las pizzas, la comida del Rooftop deliciosa y sobre todo lo amables que son. La habitacion muy cómoda, la cama, la vista a la playa.
Gracias a todos por sus atenciones, a los que mantienen en pie el resort, lo apreciamos mucho.

"We recently stayed at Sonesta and while the hotel itself is beautiful with amazing views and a great location, our experience was unfortunately very frustrating.
Upon check-in, we specifically booked an ocean view room but were initially given Room 101, which had a parking lot/front entrance view instead. After having to make a fuss, we were finally moved to Room 311, which was much better.
However, on days 2 and 3, the AC stopped working. On top of that, there was heavy construction going on...

"The staff is tremendously rude,waited 4 hours for a room upon arrival,next day got removed from my room at 10am.to transfer and i sat in the lobby till 4pm.to get a room,mind you i was already checked in from the day before.They will NOT accomodate you at restaurants if you are a large group!Very,very terrible,loved Sint Maarteen but not the resort,and at the airport the were very rude at check in..too much attitude!"

"We loved everything about our stay at Simpson Bay Resort. The beaches were spectacular. The buffet breakfast was amazing!! "The property is beautiful, very well maintained with plants, flowers, and landscaping. The room was awesome, nice walkout sliding doors, and a great bathroom with a walk-in shower for two people.
