"I read a previous reviewer who commented on how dark the walls were. I thought that was a silly comment, but now I get it. You can barely see 2 feet in front of you in the hallways as the lighting is so dim and the walls are painted blk or gray. Rather outdated furnishings, dirty carpets, and homeless ..."

"Tara Lodge is a lovely hotel. Everyone working there is so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! I had smoked salmon and eggs and porridge with berry compote. In a word, yum."
