"We had to wait on the employee to finish smoking a cigarette before we could check in. Another guest went to find the employee and notify them multiple customers were waiting on him. The floors of the room and bathroom were filthy, leaving our kids black from crawling on them. Around the perimeter of the property were dangerous looking people. We were not pleased with this stay. We do not recommend this hotel."

"Went to take a shower and the tub was filthy, made for a bad stay."

"The rooms are very clean as was everything in the hotel. It has a pool indoors but we did not use it just because we didn't have time. The staff was very friendly. The hotel, halls, breakfast room, our room etc. was very clean. We did have a problem with the a/c or so we thought. We went down to the desk. & the hostess asked if we turned the wall a/c controls on....we didn't realize it. Came back upstairs & it worked great. The check in was very easy & the hostess was very friendly. There were...

"It was ok but I saw critters in the shower and room floor."

"Loved this little spot. Clean and easy to access but also hidden in its own little world. The front gate has a smaller parking lot so all trucks or bigger suvs must park in the back lot. They have a convenient vending machine with drinks. They also have a washer/dryer (no change needed paid by phone) which made it super convenient when needed. Some nice and cute things they had was a grill, outside sitting area, ice machine and cute string lights all around. When needing more towels or items...

"The room smelled as if someone sprayed heavy scented perfume. Good place to sleep if you bring your own pillows. No breakfast…!"

"Tabitha and Tammy at the front desk are wonderful! The breakfast was great! We always stay here on our trips to the Gulf Coast!"

"Staff were extremely helpful, particularly Stanley who greeted us on arrival and checked us in. Our room was exactly as described. Breakfast was terrific with more than sufficient options to suit everyone’s needs. Easy parking on site and walking distance to Beale Street."

"Hu Hotel is lovely. We had the best view of the Mississippi River and the Bridge from our window. It was spectacular. The room was huge and the beds were so comfortable. I can't fault this hotel. You can walk everywhere and it is very reasonably priced!!"

"Well managed property. Helpful staff."

"On a one-week road trip we stayed at three different chain hotels. This was by far the best room of the three. Great lighting, plenty of charging options, spacious room, lots of surfaces to put luggage, even options for firmness of pillows. And the breakfast was great!"
