While we were there the hot tub and pool had a reaction and turned green & brown so we did not go in. Location on the Deshutes river and proximity to Lava...

"Our room was at the far end and right on the river with a firepit so perfect location. We saw a large buck nibbling on plants and partridges parade in-front of our patio. Lots of different birds. The outdoor pool was nice. Restaurant was great and the resort location felt remote even though it's walking distance to shops and other restaurants."

"Although it’s an older property, the rooms are nicely remodeled and comfortable. Strangely, the bathroom door (Room 163) wouldn’t close all the way- it seems to need to have some wood shaved off the lower edge. Odd that this wouldn’t have been addressed. But, overall it was quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly. There is a nice breakfast which includes eggs and sausage."

"My stay at this Holiday Inn was outstanding and exactly what I look for in a hotel. The property appeared clean and well maintained, from the exterior and lobby to the guest room. Everything was in good condition and gave a positive first impression. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. When I requested additional towels, they were happy to provide them without any hesitation. One thing to be aware of is that the parking area is somewhat tight. There is only one entrance and exit, so if you are driving a larger or longer vehicle, it may take a little extra planning and maneuvering. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn to others."
