Good hotel with a good price
We booked 2 nights here while on holidays in India. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the air conditioning worked very well! Breakfast was basic but we were still able to have enough to eat. Staff were able to organize taxis for us and staff very helpful in carrying bags down the street (the road which it was on is being fixed so no direct access to the hotel) for our taxi. The hotel is close to the central train station which was handy for us as we arrived and left by train. We ordered room service and it arrived in good time and was very nice. The only complaint I have about this hotel is with the hot water. We tried to have a shower and there was no hot water. I called to reception to ask about it and they informed me that would put it on. Half an hour later I called again stating that we still did not have hot water. Some time after that and still not having hot water, I went down to the reception to find out what the problem was as we had to be up early the next morning and were trying to shower then go to bed. After having a firm talk to reception staff, I returned to my room to find a staff member had just arrived to try and get it to work. It eventually worked. I understand that in India not every place has hot water or that it's expensive, but at least inform your guests of the hot water situation so they can work around it. A hotel we stayed at in Delhi displayed their hot water times so we showered during those times
The hotel had a good breakfast, but the hotel staff are rather eager to nickel and dime you as much as possible~! It's really exhausting!
I couldn't recommend this hotel whole heartedly! They really need to get their act together! Otherwise, it has great potential!
