Safari Tentalow in Benito Juárez

"Not worth it! In off season 1 hour wait for table at the Asian restaurant, no ramps for baby stroller, stolen $200 from the safe box, the food is below the cheapest buffet $8.99 lunch time all you can eat, waiters in bad mood (slow season, no customers, no tips), construction everywhere, the hotel is old and dirty, activities during day time are poor, night time shows are the poorest I have even seen, managers asking how is everything, but if you tell them you have an issue, they just walk away (like I didn’t want to hear that, but I really don’t care), after the pool bar closes the staff is collecting the cups around the pool in garbage bags pouring to the grass the leftovers (disgusting, next day people are walking on sticky grass wondering “what’s that”, We stayed there for 9 nights, even if they offer me another 9 nights completely free WE WOULD NOT GO BACK AT THIS HOTEL! This is professional feedback from former restaurant manager, not from person in bad mood! "

"We loved our stay! We didn’t realize until the last day that the tub inside and on our deck had hot water, the temperature faucets were just backwards! Our room was so spacious and luxurious, the resort made everything easy and relaxing, I loved the beach access points. The dining was alright, I appreciated the ease most of all. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we did not appreciate some of the tricky ways that they tried to sell us a timeshare though- be aware of that if you’re offered anything that sounds too good to be true. The gym also was fantastic here."

"Very nice resort, clean, pools very nice. Staff not as friendly as other resorts we’ve visited. Food was disappointing. Every restaurant had a dirty mop water smell. Restaurants were often closed which led to very minimal lunch and dinner options."

"This was a very nice hotel, but very boring and the staff were just ok. Not much entertainment and no shows every night. Then, when you first arrive prestige travelers club will try their very best to shove down some kind of time share, it’s overwhelming and overloading after you traveled hours to get there. Then the main pool was under construction by the 3rd day we were there which was a bummer because that was pretty much our only form of entertainment. I did like that they came twice daily to clean the rooms and asked if you needed more towels. But that was about it. I won’t be going back ever and I am sorry I don’t even want to ever go back to Margaritaville anywhere now."
