"Pleasant stay. Ramps, not steps, to 2nd floor, which was interesting. Good location, truly pretty close to KU campus."

"The only thing I was disappointed with was the master bedroom furniture placement. The Queen bed was placed against a wall, not just the head of the bed but also a side. There was no way to get in bed on that side, you have to crawl up from the foot of the bed. I will be more observant in furniture placement when next I reserve [which I will] with them again."

"This was an interesting stay. We prefer to avoid run-of-the-mill hotels, and this one is definitely not part of a big chain. It's decor is dated, and not luxurious, but comfortable. They have flyers giving the history of the building, the architect and it's troubled restoration. The balcony was really nice in the evening. We liked the location because it wasn't right downtown, but a few blocks away. "

"Loved the hotel. So many good restaurants within walking distance. Only bad part was the mattress. It was so old and soft, it was very uncomfortable. "
