"The hotel staff was great, they where nice, accommodating, and helpful during my one week stay there. There are a few nice areas within the hotel where you can sit, watch TV, and socialize with family and friends. The rooms where clean, and staff came by when requested.
The one drawback is the location, If you're traveling from outside the country and want to see other areas within Istanbul, the traffic is brutal, and with this hotel location you could be sitting in traffic about 1.5 each way."

"The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
The moment you walk into this hotel, you can tell from the clientele that it is basically a brothel renting rooms by the hour.
Despite arriving at 10 PM, our reserved room was still not ready. We had to wait another two hours before a staff member finally approached us and proudly announced that they had prepared a “super room” for us.
At first, the room reeked so badly of cigarette smoke that it completely masked the smell of mold and the sewage stench...

"Really beautiful hotel and nicely located. Highly recommend for those purposes. Just a note that there was really no warmth or welcoming atmosphere from the staff, which was a shame and not how the rest of the city is. Especially around breakfast / lobby. Would love to see more interaction, recommendations, maybe friendliness. Some people didn’t even knowledge us in the hallways / lobby. Not really a big deal but also a shame since this property has the potential to be best in class. Other than...

"Mmy experience was mixed. I particularly appreciated the hospitality & welcoming attitude of the front desk. The staff were friendly, welcoming & efficient, and the check-in process was fast.
However, several aspects of the stay were disappointing and fell below the standards expected of a five-star hotel.
Room Cleanliness & housekeeping services:
The carpet could certainly have been cleaner. There was also room for improvement in the overall attention to hygiene and presentation within the...

"we really enjoyed our stay with Som Tom suites. the staff were all very friendly and helpful, for us, the breakfast staff were excellent, very friendly and thoughtful and so were the reception staff. The location was great for walking access to good shopping and the waterfront and the area was safe for walking day and night. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. It is a small hotel with thoughtful extras like complementary afternoon tea after a busy day which we appreciated."

"We arrived late after a 13 hrs flight and went to sleep immediately. The next morning we took a quick shower to go out early on a tour and did not pay attention to the mold. When we returned that night my wife noticed all the patches of mold on different areas of the stall and opted out of taking a shower and took a bath. I also decided to just take a bath too. I spoke to manager Kanzar and let him know how disgusting the pink and black patches of mold were. We left the next morning. The...
