"The owner and staff are extremely obliging and helpful. They even went the extra mile to run a shopping errand for me when I realised I'd left some key items at my previous hotel.
The food is excellent; delicious, authentic and very filling portions. The dining room setting is lovely and they clearly do everything to maintain the property.
They even made a packed breakfast+lunch for us because we had a 4.30am departure to hit a mountain route.
Room was very good. The only thing I would hope...

"Sehr schöne, saubere und modern eingerichtete Unterkunft. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut und auch vollständig ausgestattet. Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und lecker. Restaurant auch sehr empfehlenswert mit schöner Aussicht im Freien.
Wellnessbereich leider nicht genutzt, war aber bei der Besichtigung auch sehr einladend.
Wir waren zum Familienurlaub mit 3 Kindern 4 Tage dort und fühlten uns wirklich gut aufgehoben. "

"Apesar da piscina interna ser um pouco fria (se fosse uns 2º/3ºC a mais já resolveria essa questão), a jacuzzi do lado de fora tem uma temperatura fantástica e era o ponto alto do hotel! O atendimento dos funcionários era fantástico, a concierge Ingrid foi super prestativa e simpática, e a Maya do Maro Club foi um amor e super atenciosa com a nossa filha (mesma minha filha mal falando inglês, adorou ficar algumas horinhas brincando enquanto esquiávamos)."

"Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden exceeded our expectations. The rooms -- with all having an amazing view -- provides a very efficient use of space. The breakfast buffet is outstanding -- offering an array of delicious items. And the service staff was top notch.
And you can't find a better location to the popular attractions. Bus line 840 and 843 is a quick 10-minute trip from the Berchtesgaden train station. And the boat ride and Jennerbahn are 1 and 2 bus stops respectively.
