"We stayed 7 nights and it was first in this hotel in Bad Gastein. Very professional and helpful staff in reception with good advices on sightseeing, dining and travelling. We were pleased with kitchen facilities, that we used mainly for breakfast and for finishing a day with a glass of wine. The spa was excellent, after 15-20 km hike it was such a pleasure to relax in saunas. The hotel had a transfer that we used upon leaving which was convenient with heavy luggage. "Stayed in one bedroom apartment, very spacious and nicely decorated. Had a good kitchen and a personal sauna. Personnel were very helpful and spoke good English. We initially booked for 4 nights but ended staying a week. Location is perfect for exploring the area, close to Salzburg and all the beautiful lakes in the region. We would gladly consider staying here again."

"The Salt is an amazing property, so clean, wuiet and peaceful. The comfortable double room we had was superb with plenty of space and a great walk in shower. Downstairs in the note communal area there was an attached cafe and a fabulous lounge area with coffee machine and kettle. Outside, Hallein is a fabulous old town with a great selection of dining options. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"This was our first time visiting Austria and we were not disappointed! As a family of four with two children age 6 and 10 the location of the hotel and the facilities offered by the hotel was second to none. Specifically the included pool pass to the local water park was outstanding. The safe environment of the hotel and the local area meant it was the first time we felt that we could leave the kids somewhat unattended and meant we could properly relax.
