good location, room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is simple, hasn't changed for years, but compare to price. Hopefully can add hot cereal or gravy soup biscuits.

Judy was helpful and kind upon check in. However, she needs an extra employee to help her during busy check in times and when other guests are calling in. Rooms were great. Safe location. We appreciate Judy’s effort in making our stay comfortable.

Motel-like set up of hotel. Good parking. Pool was somewhat dirty and location is not attractive. Good breakfast and welcoming staff. Location directly at main road is easy to access village (local brewery is nice!). Do visit the Dutch Bakery two doors up the street.

Great go-to in Bishop. I've stayed here a few times over the years and it's always been clean and comfy. Very friendly front desk too, and the free breakfast is a nice bonus before hitting the road or getting started on an early hike.

Rooms weren’t ready for the two parties checking in in front of us. One poor woman was practically in tears. It was around 4pm. We did get checked in and to a first floor room as requested, that was great. The woman behind the desk warned us about noise and to call the front desk if it was after 10 pm because then they could do something about it quoting local ordinances. Turns out the guy in the room next to us was loudly talking for at least 2 hours and then went inside and watched an hour of Family Feud. It didn’t last past 10, so it wasn’t reported. However we got the feeling he’s been there several days and has been requested to quiet down. Maybe he should have been asked to move along. We couldn’t wait to leave the next morning. Had breakfast at Schott’s.

Definitely felt like we overpaid for what we got. Pros/ cons- Pros- friendly staff, good breakfast. Cons- Pictures and descriptions did not match actual property. The stairs leading to family suite were under construction had to use different entrance which made it for a longer walk which was still manageable but was disappointed with room. Door got stuck and was very difficult to close and open . Found ants on wall and bedding . Sofa bed looked dirty lots of pet hair on it . No black out curtains. Very loud busy street. Hot tub unavailable did not mention on website.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Thin walls. If your lonely, you can join conversations with the people next door and above without raising your voice. Didn’t have their complementary breakfast and opted to walk a block to pick up something from the famous Schat’s Bakkery.

Check in was good, very informative. We have stayed here a several times before. It’s is reliable and we know what we are getting. This time was mostly the same, the hotel was a little run down and a little old. ( I know there is so much you can do without spending a lot of money, so I get it. We asked to stay in a second level room so we don’t have to hear walking from above. We noticed that the room next to us had a small child, which is fine we love kids. However the walls are very thin and we could hear what they were talking about and the little girl running around until she went to bed at about 9pm. At around 7am the next day they all got up and it was very loud doors slamming, loud foot steps. It sounded like one of the opening scenes on the movie “Home Alone”, chaos! They all left the room about 8:45am and 15 minutes later here comes the maid rolling the cart in their room. So it was over for me, I’m now not going to sleep in on your vacation. I’m not a light sleeper or an unreasonable person but seemed like a bad morning for sleeping in for anyone. The shower faucet was installed backwards. Hot water in the US is always on the left if you are facing it and it was loose from the wall. The two of us started with two half rolls of TP when started. We ran out in the morning we used the tissues. So at the end of the day the biggest issue is the walls are very thin. Cannot do anything about that. Maybe when hotel not booked full to stagger rooms between guests.
