"Staff amazing and friendly nothing was too much trouble . Room we were moved to fantastic compared to the first room given to us. Staff went all out to accommodate us. Only one thing we could fault was not enough plug points at all the beds for a family room"

"Good in parts but bad parts too. Not what I expected. No bath plug....rang reception from room telephone and my mobile....housekeeping, maintenance and reception....not answered. Had to get dressed go down to reception to make my request. Then a 40 minute wait for one to get delivered to the room. Small window in bedroom with latch screwed down so window cudnt be opened so very little fresh air. Lift broken so big queues for the one service lift available with dirty towels and rubbish bags...

"It's fine. I wouldn't call it 4 star. Simply because the bathroom needs to be updated. The TV has no sports channels which is strange when The Open is being played down the street. Scottish open being played just hours north of us. For 4 stars I don't expect to shower in a tub unless I requested to."

"Lovely friendly staff but they didn't seem to know anything. There was no mention about breakfast times and location etc on check in. We asked about the pool but the staff in the main building didn't know whether it was included or not (it's not). When searching for a hotel, I specifically selected Air Con as a filter, but what I didn't realise until too late, is the rooms that came up on my search don't have any - fortunately it cooled down the night we were there. Lovely big rooms."

"We stayed at the Vincent 3-6 July while attending a local event. The staff have showed excellent initiative realising we might prefer a twin room as we checked in and making the necessary changes to allow this. In the restaurant and at breakfast the staff showed similar mindsets pre-empting anything we might need, resolving any questions without any fuss and were friendly and approachable. "Overall a good hotel, very good lounge area, rooms were basic but nice and clean I did only book a budget room so was as expected,bed was very comfy staff were very nice,breakfast was good nicely cooked ,would have liked more of a fruit choice as only apples and oranges and a couple of cake options would have made it better Was a good choice for what I wanted I didn't see any entertainment as I had other plans but it was on."
