"The hotel has just been updated, and for the price, it is an outstanding value. New hall carpet and paint. My room had new flooring, bed, linens, and paint. The bathroom had a new counter, sink, and nice faucet. The shower had new tile and a cool fixture. The new mirror had a light strip behind it, for a nice diffused lighting effect.
Why would i write such a long and detailed review? Because it was obvious that the ownership has invested a lot of time, effort, and money in updating their property. The review is earned. "
"I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was honestly concerning enough that I felt like I had to share.
From the start, things felt off. The pool was closed, and instead of closing off the pool area they closed half of the hotel which wasn’t mentioned and made the place feel kind of run down.
When we got to our room, I was genuinely shocked at how dirty it was. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There were greasy smudges and buildup on pretty much every surface, and what looked like toothpaste and grime on the tables. The bedding was the worst part, it honestly felt like it had just been re-tucked instead of changed, and there were stains on the sheets and pillowcases. There were also splash stains on the headboard of the bed.
After staying three nights, my skin broke out worse than it has in years, which made me even more uncomfortable about how clean things actually were. The carpet felt dirty to the point we didn’t want to take our socks off, the bathroom floor was gross, and the shower never got hot, just cold water the entire time no matter what time of day we tried.
The “breakfast” was also really disappointing, just waffles, dry cereal with no milk, and toast.
Overall, this stay just didn’t feel clean or well taken care of, and it was honestly pretty concerning. I would definitely not stay here again."
"Very clean room and shower, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very convenient there is a gas station across the street from the hotel. My family and I would definitely stay here again."
